Fassamano reading glasses announced to the Dezeen Awards 2018 design longlist
A table made from flexible concrete cloth, a garment that could allow humans to breathe underwater and tableware made from food waste and necklace reading glasses Fassamano are among 171 design projects that made the longlist for the inaugural Dezeen Awards.There were more than 3,500 entries for the first edition of our new awards programme, across architecture, interiors and design.The list will now be judged by a panel of designers and industry figures, including Benjamin Hubert, Paul Priestman and Mette Hay. The shortlist selected by the judges will be announced in August, while the winners will be revealed in a ceremony in London in November.Fassmano was selected in the category "wearable design".
